Brookings Biomedical Science Startup, GlycoScience Research Inc. brings hope to Huntington’s Disease

Brookings biomedical science startup, GlycoScience Research Inc. (GSR) is sponsoring a meet and greet with musician Shelby Lentz on Friday, July 12th from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Brookings Innovation Center. Shelby’s SD tour focuses on increasing public awareness of Huntington’s disease and the work GSR is doing on a treatment for this disease.

Over the last 20+ years, Larry and Sue Holler of WH Land & Livestock LLC has built a flock of genetically selected carriers for the GM1 gangliosidosis trait. GlycoScience Research Inc (GSR), was incorporated to develop a safe, natural source of GM1 for ganglioside research and therapeutic use. Their mission is to produce and promote ovine GM1 ganglioside as a treatment for Huntington’s Disease and other neurological diseases.
